How It Works:
Heat Tape Pro
The backbone of your roof and gutter de-icing system, HeatTapePRO™ is the only heat cable with a GlowCap, so you know it’s working.
Roof Clips
Roof clips are what hold your cable in position. We offer a wide variety but only GripClips™ are specially-designed for the fastest, simplest installation.
Heat Tape Controller
ThermaCord™ adds greater efficiency to your de-icing system by automatically turning your cable on and off when the weather calls for it.
Cable Guard
Don’t let sharp points and edges ruin your new system! CableGuard™ pinches around your cable, protecting it at the top and bottom of downspouts.

How much of each to order:
Use the following tool to calculate the amount of Heat Tape and clips your project will require. If you don’t understand the required measurements, see our Measuring Guide.

To view a detailed guide on how to measure for your heat tape installation, click below:
Quick Measuring Directions:
- Measure the depth of the eave (B)
- Measure the linear feet of roof eave (C) that you want to protect
- Note any valleys in the roof (D) that exist where the heat cable will be installed
- Measure extra gutter footage required to get to downspout (F)
- Measure the vertical linear length of all included downspouts (G)
- Measure the distance to power, in case 10-foot cord won’t reach (Advanced Option)
